Australian Geographic: Ross McGibbon’s Snake Photography
Posted by Ross McGibbon on 1st Mar 2018
In February 2018, Australian Geographic published an online feature by Angela Heathcote exploring my approach to photographing Australia's large, venomous snakes in the wild. The article looks at the research, field experience and patience involved in locating these animals and capturing them in their natural habitats.
The feature showcases several of my photographs, including a mulga snake displaying defensive behaviour in the Great Victoria Desert, a Southwest Woma, a Perentie and a Frill-necked Dragon.
